The PCTA programme is an HIV and AIDS Management partnership funded by PEPFAR through the Solidarity Center aimed at promoting, education, HIV testing and treatment for SA teachers initially in three of South Africa’s nine provinces, KZN, Mpumalanga and Eastern Cape and now the programme has been extended to all nine provinces.
The Tshepang Trusts contribution to this partnership is to provide doctors trained and skilled in HIV and AIDS Clinical Management to test and treat teachers and their spouses or partners in a caring, confidential and private environment at no cost. This programme has now been replaced by the Workplace Intervention programme.
